| CD15 is expressed on Reed-Sternberg cells of Hodgkin’s disease and by various other cell types including myeloid cells (e.g. granulocytes, monocytes, a subset of tissue macrophages, and activated T lymphocytes) and epithelial cells. Anti-CD15 antibody is useful for the diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia and Hodgkin's disease. Negative staining of CD15 is helpful for differential diagnosis of malignant mesothelioma from adenocarcinomas. |
