| Melan-A, also known as Melanoma Antigen Recognized by T cells 1 (MART-1), is a melanocyte differentiation antigen.The anti-Melan-A body labels melanocytes, steroid producing cells. It is a useful tool for the identification of melanomas. Melan-A is also expressed in angiomyolipomas. The antibody is applicable as a useful marker for angiomyolipomas. |
