Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) is specifically expressed by benign and malignant prostate epithelium. The antibody labels prostatic epithelium, and is a useful tool for identification of adenocarcinoma of the prostate in metastatic sites and for differentiating prostate adenocarcinoma from urothelial carcinoma.
This antibody is often used in conjunction with prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) and CD57 (Leu 7). A combination of these three markers gives the highest diagnostic yield.GBI Product Description |
